UP CM Adityanath Yogi has announced Matra Bhumi Yojana. In this scheme every person will get a chance to participate in various works of infrastructure developments in villages, town or block.

The government will bear 50 percent total cost of project and rest of the 50 percent will be contributed by the interested people. And in return government will ask you to name your project with your name, mother, father or someone else.

UP Chief Minister, Adityanath has launched this scheme virtually and asked the Department of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj to submit rules and regulation for further implementation of this scheme.

In Matra Bhumi Scheme these rural infrastructure and development projects could likely come under the scheme:- Health Centres, Roads, Anganwadi Centres, Library, Stadium, Gymnasium, Open Gym, Cattle breed improvement centre, Playground, fire service station, CCTV, street light for smart villages, Installation of Solar Lights, Installation of Electric Wire and polls, development of funeral sites etc.
