National food security Act 2016 what is the meaning of NFSA
Bill 2016 which was passed under BJP Government. Khadya suraksha bill is an act
to provide for food and nutritional security in human life cycle approach
through ration card and antodyaya card Yojana by ensuring access to adequate
quantity of quality food Rice, Wheat, Sugar, White Kerosene at affordable
prices to people to live a life with dignity and for matters connected tits has
many changes. From National food
security Bill 2013 it extends to the whole of India. National Food Security act
latest price for ration card holder: wheat at Rs. 2 per kg and rice at Rs. 3
per kg. Total 81.34 crore people will get benifit.Now 11 states including Tamil

households and general household.
This act also support Door step Delivery to pregnant women
and lactating mothers, support to children, management of child malnutrition. Pregnant women, 6 months to 14 years of
age have right take home ration" 600 Calories and a benefit of at least Rs
6,000 for six months for reasons of maternity
National food
security Act 2013 allows to Personal Identification of people who living in
starvation, if any.

of schemes for ensuring food security.
AntodayaYojna will
remain entitled to the 35 kg of grains fixed to them under the mentioned scheme
What is the
Disadvantage of National Food security act?
If Government buys huge amount of food grains from the
market. It will affect the price which lds increase in English Dearness or and
in Hindi called mehangai that led to Rice, wheat, Dal.
It will increase to various corruption from government
official as well from lower level because in todays period. Jagrukta abhiyan in
Hindi for ration card not implemented. Various people sell Rashan on black when
their no people claim Rashan in rashan card dukan or shops.

people for food security Act
For Successfully Implementing National Food Security act
2016 government should recruit some person or officer to review take an eye of
every district where NFSA Bill Yojana 2016 is going on.
Advertise in Various Channel, Newspaper and website. Put online
complaint, Help line if any kotedars, Rashan shopkeeper do wrong thing or not
giving ration to APL bpl families.
