IRCTC Vikalp Scheme Launched in Hindi Under Indian Railway Yojana Confirmed Train Tickets of Rajdhani & Shatabdi IRCTC Railway Vikalp Scheme.

IRCTC Vikalp Scheme and Yojana Launched for Confirmed Train Tickets and Seat who have booked from IRCTC website. Vikalp Scheme worked when your ticket is in waiting list but not confirmed at certain period of time, then you will get an SMS for Vikalp of Premium trains like Shatabdi, Rajdhani, Metro even bullet train. Under Vikalp Yojna Indian Railway official website will inform you about activation of Vikalp option, and your new train, coach and berth numbers would be listed with next train arrival. However, Indian Railways already running on a pilot project in few routes such as Delhi to Lucknow, Delhi to Jammu Kashmir and Delhi to Mumbai, Ahmedabad since November 2016.

Vikalp Scheme of Indian Railway: Under Railway Vikalp scheme, passengers will opt maximum 5 trains for VIKALP scheme who have booked through online net banking tickets but there will be no refund once the charts are prepared and once selected under VIKALP scheme cannot be changed. 50% of the cost of the ticket is deducted if one cancels between 12 and four hours before departure for vikalp train scheme.
