ICMR NIOH Recruitment 2017: Applications are invited from Indian Nationals on or before 11 September, 2017 for the following posts:- Scientist-D (One post) in the Level-12 of the Pay Matrix (PB-3 Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs. 7600), Scientist- C (Two posts) in the Level-11 of the Pay Matrix (PB-3 Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs. 6600) & Scientist-B (Nine posts) in the Level-10 of the Pay Matrix (PB-3 Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs. 5400) and usual allowances as admissible as per Government norms at National Institute of Occupational Health, Ahmadabad & it’s both centre’s at Bengaluru and Kolkata.

1. Scientist (Medicine) - One post (Unreserved)

Essential Qualification:-

MD/DMRD (Medicine) recognized by MCI with five years R&D/teaching experience after obtaining essential qualification out of which two years experience in a managerial position to handle R&D projects in a team effectively in a directing capacity.

OR

MBBS degree recognized by MCI, with Eight years R&D/teaching experience after obtaining essential qualification out of which two years experience in a managerial position to handle R&D projects in a team effectively in a directing capacity.

Job Requirements:-

1. To undertake independent research and participate in multi-disciplinary team work in the field of Occupational and Environmental Health.

2. To assist in Institutional infrastructure, project development and resource generation.

3. To carry out any other work assigned by the Director.

Age Limit:-

Not exceeding 45 years for post mentioned at Sr. No. 1, 40 years for posts mentioned at Sr. No. 2 & 3 and 35 years for posts mentioned at Sr. No. 4 to 9. Relax able up to 5 years for Government servant and SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates in accordance with the instructions issued by the Department of Personnel and Training from time to time in this regard.

Desirable:

1. Experience in pesticide residues and PCBs analysis in biological and environmental samples.

2. Handling sophisticated analytical instruments viz. GC, HPLC, GC-MS, LC-MS.
