YouTube Voice Reply Comment Features Launch

YouTube on trial basis is experimenting a new feature that allowing creators to respond to comments on their videos with voice notes, aiming to enhance interactions on the platform.

This is called Voice Reply comment.

Where YouTube said, “We’re experimenting with a feature that enables creators to reply to comments with their voice. 

The feature, currently available to a limited number of creators in the United States.

Testing voice replies to comments: We're experimenting with a feature that enables creators to reply to comments with their voice. If you're a creator in the test group, you can click the sound wave icon when responding to a comment > record a voice reply › then post it as a comment. While we gather feedback in the experiment phase, voice replies can only be left by creators on their own channel via the YouTube app on iOS, but all viewers and creators can engage with these comments. This test is rolling out to a small number of creators in the US. We hope that the voice reply experiment enables more meaningful relationships between creators and their audiences

So which means it will look like a sound icon in your comment section and voice command feature is already available on Twitter, which is now called X.

YouTube says we are taking feedback in the experiment phase, voice replies can only be left by creators on their own channel via the YouTube app on iOS. So this picture can function in YouTube studio app, where you can reply and comment as an audio.

With your comments all viewers and creators can engage with these comments.

So the current feature is only available to iPhone users, and it will soon roll out to android user in January month.
