Punjab Scholarship
Online Form 2018;- Sanctioned of Scholarship Details 2017-18 sent Ministry
of Higher Education through Punjab Government under Social department Welfare
of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes and Minorities.
Utilized Certificate for scholarship grant should be submitted by the grantee
in the prescribed format of not older than 12 months from the date of this
Sanction Order. Candidates will receive sanctioned amount within one month when
students completes first year.
Punjab Scholarship for
OBC Students:- PU scholarships will be open to Indian nationals belonging
to OBCs, as notified by the State Govt.
1. 30% of scholarships are earmarked for girl students.
2. Scholarship benefit will not be given not more than 2 students
from the family.
3. Scholarship allocation to States/UTs on the basis of
population of minorities.
4. The scheme is implemented through the State Govt./UT
Administration.
5. Students whose parents/guardians' income from all sources
does not exceed Rs. 2,50,000/- (Rupees two lakh, fifty thousand only).
Punjab Scholarship for
SC ST Students: The objective of the SC ST Scholarship scheme in Punjab is
to provide financial assistance to the Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes
students studying at post matriculation or post-secondary stage to enable them
to complete their education.
1. Students should have secured not less than 50% marks in
the previous final examination.
2. Parents/guardians does not exceed Rs. 1.00 lakh per annum
shall be eligible
3. Students should be the permanent residence of Punjab
State.
