Salar Jung Museum Recruitment 2018 Applications are invited  Filling up of Group ’B’ and Group ‘C’ posts, in the Salar Jung Museum, Hyderabad. from eligible candidates for appointment to the following.

Period of probation is Two Years for direct recruits.

7.Age limit for direct recruitment Not exceeding 40 years. Relaxation in age limit is applicable as per the extant orders of the Govt. of India.

8.Educational and other qualifications:

Essential:
(i)(a)A Master’s degree in Musicology/Fine Arts/Archeology/History from a recognized University And
(b)5 years working experience in a reputed Museum/Cultural Institution in a responsible position
2.Desirable:
(i)Diploma in Musicology for Non Musicology Post graduates.
(ii)Published works on Museum.
(iii)Computer knowledge (M.S. Office).
(iv)Experience of using Collections Management software.

Note: Qualifications are relax able at the discretion of the Appointing on the recommendation of the selection Committee/DPC, in case of candidates otherwise well qualified.
