 Delhi Health Department Recruitment 2017 It is proposed to fill up 04 (four) vacant posts of Assistant Library & Information Officer in Pay Level-7 (Rs. 44900-142400) of the Pay Matrix [Pay Band -2, Rs. 9300-34800 with Grade Pay Rs. 4600, in pre-revised scale of pay ] in the National Medical Library under Directorate General of Health Services, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare on deputation (including short-term contract)/absorption basis from the officers or Central Government or State Government or Union Territories or Autonomous or Statutory Organization or Public Sector Undertakings or Universities or Recognized Research Institutions:-

Who Can Apply:

(a)(i)holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; Or

(iii)with five years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the level 6 (Rs. 35400-112400) of  the Pay matrix [Pay Band-2, Rs. 9300-34800 with Grade Pay Rs. 4200, in pre-revised scale of pay] or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; and

(B)Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience:-

Educational Qualification:

(i)Bachelor’s degree in Library Science or Library and Information Science from a recognized University or Institute.

(ii)Two years’ professional experience in a library under Central or State Governments or Autonomous or Statutory Organization or Public Sector Undertaking or University or Recognized Research Institute or Educational Institute.

MOHFW Information Officer Recruitment 2017

Eligibility criteria:

(i)Master’s degree in Library Science or Library and Information Science from a recognized University or Institute.

(ii)Diploma in Computer Applications from a recognized University or Institute.

Note 1:-The departmental officers in the feeder category who are in direct line of promotion shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment on deputation. Similarly, deputations shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment by promotion.
