Rashtriya Vayoshri Yojana is to give assistance for Senior Citizens introduced under PM Modi Rashtriya Vayoshri Scheme. To apply online for RVY Scheme candidate should hold the at least 60 years of age. By briefing this scheme which will be implemented at a budget of Rs. 477 Crore and will be launched on 25th March 2017 state of Andhra Pradesh’s Nellore district. Under the Rashtriya Vayoshri scheme, the central government would provide free devices to senior citizens who does not afford it for example hearing aids, wheelchairs and many more.

Rashtriya Vayoshri Scheme for Senior Citizens: The National Old age scheme target the people who have disabilities like low vision, hearing impairment, loss of teeth and locomotors disability. In a Large process The India government has set an aim of distributing devices among 2,000 identified beneficiaries for free in each state and their district who needed under proposed 'Rashtriya Vayoshri Yojana'.

Eligibility criteria for RVY Scheme: Senior citizens who crossed the age limit of 60 Year will get free assistive devices.

Types of Devices: walkers, crutches, wheelchairs, tripods, spectacles, hearing aids and dentures

Location and Distribution Date: Rashtriya Vayoshri Yojana on 25 March at Nellore district Andhra Pradesh's by Union Social Justice and Empowerment Minister with Information and Broadcasting Minister M Venkaiah Naidu after that on March 26 similar camp will be in Madhya Pradesh's Ujjain district.

Latest News for Rashtriya Vayoshri Yojana: Central Govt has passed the budget of Rs 477 crore schemes. There are 10.38 crore senior citizens in the India out of them 54 Lakh suffer from ld age-disability. And number of senior citizen is expected to reach in 2026 (17.3 crore).
