Today on 12 June we remember as International Child Labour Day. In July 2019, United Nation General Assemble approved a resolution declaring 2021 as the International Year for the Elimination of Child labour. On 12 June we should come together and pledge to stop Child Labour and also share to your friends as a World Day Against Child Labour.

UP CM Launched Bal Shramik Vidya Yojana: Here we talking about Bal Shramik Vidya Yojana launched on 12th June by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister with a Slogan of Shiksha ka Vada, Ek Naya Irada. We are 1.3 Billion family and also called country which have largest number of young people. From birth our parents teach us to work hard and earn money. In some backwards district of India, you can find children at the age of 9 to 12 starts making brick blocks, work as a labour in construction sector. So, we called them child labour.



Child Labour Education Scheme: More than 2000 children will be benefitted from this Bal Shramik Vidya Yojana Scheme,” Additional Chief Secretary Awanish Awasthi said here on Thursday. He further said that the scheme was to be launched before lockdown but due to Coronavirus and situation now the government has decided to launch it on Child Labour Prohibition Day.

Bal Shramik Vidya Yojana Amount: If any students passed 8, 9th and 10th class than as a awards they get Rs 6000. Every month: Rs 1000 given to Boys and Rs 1200 transferred to Girls.



Age Limit: Minimum age limit is 8 years and maximum age limit to all girls and boys is 18 years. And they are supporting their family to make money from un organized sector.

Eligibility Criteria: Children whose parents are died due to some reason, mother or father or both are physical handicapped, owner of family is women, mother or father are affected with serious disease, landless family.
