UP Gau Gram Scheme, Cowsheds for Stray (Awara) Cows

UP Gau Gram Scheme is introduced by CM Adityanath Yogi for giving Cowsheds to Tackle Problem of Farmers due to Stray Cows. So to overcome these problems Uttar Pradesh government has launched Gau Gram Scheme across the state.

UP Gau Gram Yojana: UP govt. will open several cowsheds where number of Stray cow is exceeded due to new policy of Protection of Cow made by UP Govt. In First Phase govt. will implement this scheme in 108 villages in Vrindavan. The main benefit for Gau Gram Scheme is to prevent Cow slaughtered, so the main opportunity is given to those farmers who send their Cow in these cowshed becasue they can earn additional income through the sale of their milk, urine and cow dung.

Note:- In this scheme, every farmer will get two high milk yielding cows of indigenous breed.

The Important features to get suitable knowledge on Uttar Pradesh Gau Gram Scheme are as follows:-

1. UP Gau Gram Yojana main benefit as Indian Cow has good health on uses of Urine, Milk.

2. It will empower Farmers to make money from cow milk (Ghee, Curd and Cheese) good source of protein, cow urine, cow dung which farmers can use as organic manure, bio fuels.

3. The Main Objective of Govt is to protect cow from slaughtering.

4. Financial assistance to open cow sheds in gaushalas.

4. In this scheme, govt. will provide financial assistance to open cow sheds in gaushalas. Accordingly, UP govt. is planning to open more gaushala in the state in a phased manner.
5. Hasanand Gochar Bhoomi Trust will promote opening of cowsheds under “Mahamana Gogram Yojana”.

6. Each farmer will get 2 cow indigenous breed and will accommodate 10,000 cows of indigenous breed.
