Army Religious Teachers Recruitment 2018 Government of Indian Army has issued the notification for the recruitment of 60 Army Religious Teachers vacancies. Religious Teacher in Army called Religious Pandit who selects candidates having knowledge in Worship of various religion. For Example if candidates know about Diwali Pooja, Holika Dhahan, EID and many festival knowledge the he or she can get preference. Religious Teachers preach religious scriptures to troops and conduct various rituals at Regimental/Unit religious institutions.

Army Religious Teachers Syllabus 2017:

(a) Paper- I (Maximum Marks - 100). This paper will contain objective type questions on general awareness and will be common to candidates of all Religious

denominations. Pass marks 40%.

(a) Paper-I is a qualifying exam only. Marks not counted while preparation of merit list for appearing in the interview or final selection.

(b) PAPER- II (Maximum Marks - 100). This paper will contain objective questions to check the knowledge specific to particular religious denominations to which the candidate belongs.

Pay Scale: Candidate will get Rs. 9300-34800 /- per month as well as other admissible allowances.

Educational Qualification: Candidate should have done graduation from a recognized university can apply, along with this candidate should also have relevant qualification in their concerned discipline of pandit/ maulvi/ padre.

Eligibility Criteria For Religious Teacher in India Army

Pandit: Hindu candidates with Madhyama in Sanskrit or Bhushan in Hindi or equivalent standard in the regional language concerned.

Maulvi: Muslim candidates with Maulvi Alim in Arabic, Adib Alim in Urdu or equivalent standard in the regional language concerned.

Bodh Monk (Mahayana): who have been ordained Monk/Buddhist Priest, by the Appropriate Authority?

 

Physical Qualification: Candidate who wants to apply for this post must meet with the physical criteria which are Height – 160 cm, Weight – 50 kg and chest – 77 cm.

Age Limit: Candidate who is applying for the post of religious teacher should have age between 27-34 years for civilian and 25-34 years for Remustered person.

Selection Process: Selection of the candidate will be done on the basis of written test, physical test and personal interview.
