Difference Between 2 year OR 3 years Polytechnic Diploma

Difference between 2 year and 3 year Polytechnic Diploma that i mean that there's no such difference between them because it depends on your qualification on High School or Intermediate. If you have apply for Polytechnic Course after 12th than it becomes 2 year diploma. If you for this after 10th, than it becomes 3 years. In That case you can also get lateral entry of second year in B.tech.

For Government Jobs: If you have completed lateral entry diploma after High school or Intermediate than you are eligible for government job because you got second year admission that is approved by AICTE.

Question: Is Lateral entry diploma equivalent to 3 years diploma?

Answer: Yes, the lateral entry diploma in equivalent to regular 3 year diploma.

Both are valid diploma

1. 10th standard (10+3).

2. 10+2 (10+2+2).
