Allahabad Museum Recruitment 2017 Applications are invited for appointment in Allahabad Museum Vacancy to the Post of Clerk MTS Assistant Manager Pay Band Rs 5200- 20,200/-, G.P-1800/- on deputation basis in Allahabad Museum, Allahabad, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Culture. About Allahabad Museum: The Allahabad Museum, Allahabad is a multipurpose museum with a rich collection of 72,000 antiquities and precious art objects is seeking qualified candidates for the post of Clerk, Multi Tasking Staff and Assistant. The Duties and responsibilities Invited from eligible candidates for appointment to the following post:-

1. Responsible for planning, development and maintenance of the museum galleries.

2. To head the documentation/ digitization and coordinate with Assistant Keepers for documentation and digitization of object/maintaining the digitized data.

3. To prepare list of works under plan for fulfilling the strategy for various developmental works of the museum in consultation with the Director

Educational and other Qualifications:

1. Bachelor Degree or Master's Degree of a recognized University in Indian Archaeology/Indian History/History of Art/Ancient Indian History and Culture depending on special post.

2. Ability of talk on Indian Art and Archaeology in Hindi and English.

Desirable: Diploma in Museology/Archaeology.

Age limit: Not exceeding 30 years (Relax able for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per rule).

Scale of pay: PB. 10,000 to 15,000 per month.
