How to Open a Jan Aushadhi Stores: 1) Individual applicants other B.Pharma, D.Pharma degree holders and produce proof of the same at the time of submitting applications. In Government hospital including medical colleges, the preferred agency would be reputed NGOs and Charitable organizations but individuals would also be eligible.

2) Pradhan Mantri Janaushadhi Kendra(Store) shall be staffed with qualified, competent employees well versed with working in computerized operation and will assist the Pradhan Mantri Medicine Yojana.

3) Proof of securing a pharmacist with name, Registration with the State Council etc.

4) Credit Facility will also be given to all Pradhan Mantri Jan aushadhi Kendra’s for 30 days against post dated cheques. Distributors will also get credit of 60 days against post dated cheques. C & F agencies will have to deposits a security amount depending upon the business.

Financial Support to Applicants: It is for those who are opening Jan Aushadhi Kendra in Government hospital where space is provided free of costs.

Requirement to Open Aushadhi Store and Eligibility Criteria:

Applicant should have their own space taken as leased or rent. Minimum space required to generic medicine store is 120 sq feet.

Margins and Incentives Commission: 1) Retail margins will be the earning of Applicants. Operating agency will be provided 20% margin on MRP (Excluding taxes) of each drug.PMBJK run by Startup and Entrepreneur, pharmacists, NGOs, NGOs & Charitable organizations that are linked with JAS headquarters through internet who are using Aushadhi Yojana provided software will get incentive up to 2.5 lakh.

2) Generic Medicine Commission will be given @ 15% of monthly sales subject to a ceiling of Rs 10,000/ per month up to total limit of 2.5 lakhs.

3) In North Eastern states, and naxal affected tribal areas, the rate of incentive will be 15% and subject to monthly ceiling of Rs. 15,000/- up to total limit of 2.5 lakhs.
