Haryana Postman Multi Tasking Staff MTS Exam Pattern and IPO India Post Office Syllabus 2016 of examination The applicants should be provided OMR online form or offline in todays save tree paper policy but it based shall be subjected to an Aptitude Test of Haryana OMR Question paper with total 100 maximum marks covering the following subjects/topics. Aptitude test will comprise 4 parts Part A, B, C and D. The duration of the objective test will be of 2 hours 120 minutes. Examination Types: Objective type question:  25 marks with 25 questions of 1 mark each)

English
Use of appropriate Preposition and Article, Synonyms and Antonyms, Use of common phrase and Idioms Comprehension, Ordering of words in a Sentence, Sporting of Errors etc.

General Studies
General Knowledge with special reference to Current Affairs of Local, National and International Importance, Simple Arithmetic, Mental Ability etc.

Mathematics            
Topics: Number systems, Computation of whole numbers, Decimals & fractions, Relationship between Numbers, Fundamental arithmetical operations, Percentage, Ratio & Proportion, Profit & loss, Simple Interest, Average, Discount, Partnership, Time & work, Distance, Use of Tables & Graphs, Mensuration.1 to 3 questions from  each topic.

Hindi          
Topics for Hindi: Shabd Pad, Kriya Bhed, Mishr & Sanyukt Vakya, Vakyo ka Rupantran, Swar Sandhi, Alankar, Samas, Muhavare & Lokoktiyan, Ashudh Vakya Shodhan, Apathit Gadyansh. 5 to 8 questions from one Apathit Gadyansh and 2 to 4 questions from remaining topics

The marks obtained in Aptitude Test will be taken to draw merit list in each Division/Unit and selection will be purely on merit basis. It is further stated that;

(a) If two or more candidates secure equal marks in Aptitude Test and they are standing in the last position in the merit list, then the candidate senior in age will be considered for selection.

(b) If two are more candidates secure equal marks in Aptitude Test and they are standing in the last position in the merit list and their age are also same, the candidate who secured higher percentage in the matriculation will be considered for selection.
