Prime Minister Fellowship Scheme, For 3,000 Students Rs80, 000 per month

Prime Minister Fellowship Scheme is approved by Union Cabinet to give Prime Minister’s 3,000 Research Fellows (PMRF) (Students) Amount Rs 80,000 per month.

3,000 B.Tech PM Fellowship Scheme: The Toppers students from every University and colleges who have degree of B.Tech or integrated M.tech or M.Sc in stream of science and Technology are eligible. However final year/Appearing students can also apply. This is Eligibility criteria also.

Prime Minister PHD Research Fellowship Scheme: - 3,000 Student can get direct admission in IISc/IITs/NITs/IISERs/IIITs Govt College.

Amount/Fellowship to Get in PM Fellowship Programs: - If students are under all eligibility norms will be shortlisted in science and technology institutes. The Fellowship amount will be up to Rs. 6, 00,000/- per annum maximum per candidate.

Rs70, 000 per month for the first two years,
Rs75, 000 per month for the third year and
Rs80, 000 per month in the fourth and fifth years.

Note: Candidates will also get chance to travel foreign and all foreign travel expenses for presenting research papers at international conferences and seminars will be beared by Government.

Last date of Online Submission of Application Form: Within 14 months of registration / admission to PhD.
Announcement of Results: Updates on website.
Signing of MOUs among selected PhD Fellows, Industry and Institutes: By March of each year.
Release of Fellowship amount to Research scholar: From April of each year on a monthly basis.
