IGIPESS Recruitment 2017 Applications are invited on prescribed Performa to Fill Assistant Professor and Senior Personal Assistant on purely contract basis (as per University of Delhi Rules) for a period of six months or till a regular appointee joins duty whichever is earlier. Name of the Posts: ASSISTANT PROFESSOR (PHYSICAL EDUCATION):

Qualifications as prescribed by the Executive Council. University of Delhi dated 28.08.2017:

(ii) In colleges where Under Graduate Programme Le. B.P.Ed. is offered, guidelines given by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) shall apply. M.P.Ed. degree or its equivalent with 55% marks or its equivalent grade i.e. B in the seven point scale of letter grades 0, A. B, C, D, E, and F as per UGC norms.

Note: Any other stipulation prescribed by UGC/University from time to time for the position of Assistant Professor (Physical Education) shall be mandatory.

Qualifications as prescribed by the UGC:

(iii)Master's Degree in Physical Education with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade and.

(iv) Any other stipulation prescribed by the UGC in the general norms including a pass in NET/SLET/SET prescribed in these regulations shall be mandatory.

2. Relevant grade which is regarded as equivalent of 55% wherever the grading system is followed by a recognized university shall also be considered eligible.
