Fresh vacancies for ex servicemen: The National Sugar Institute Kanpur Research Assistant post is vacant i.e. from 1 year. And is to be filled up on deputation (including short-term contract) from amongst officials under the Central / State Government / Union Territories / Universities / Statutory or Autonomous Organization or Recognized Research Institutes fulfilling the following:-

Posts: Appointment to post of Research Assistant (Agriculture Chemistry)

Eligibility Criteria for National Sugar Institute

(A) Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; and

(b) Possessing the following educational qualification prescribed as under;

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture with Agriculture Chemistry as one of the main subject.

Desirable:

Master’s degree in Agriculture.

Note 1: Period of deputation, including the period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed three years.

How to Apply:

1. The applicant must be a citizen of India.

2.The period of deputation including the period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding the appointment in the same or some other organization or Department of the Central Government , shall ordinarily be three years which may be extended for a further period of two years with  the approval of competent authority.

3. The maximum age limit for appointment on deputation/ absorption shall not exceed 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications.
