Museum Jobs in India 2017 Applications are invited from eligible officers for appointment to post of National Museum India Recruitment 2017 For Curator who have knowledge in (Pre-historic Archaeology) Group ‘A’, Gazette, Non-Ministerial in Level -10 of pay Matrix [Pre-revised-pb-3, Rs. 15600-39100 + 5400/- Grade Pay] by Composite Method [Deputation (including short-term contract) plus promotion] in the National Museum, New Delhi under the ministry of Culture, Govt. of India.

Salary and Pay Scale in National Museum: The departmental Assistant Curator (Pre-History) in Level-6 of pay Matrix [Pre-revised PB-2, Rs. 9300-34800 + 4200/- Grade Pay (Pre-revised Rs. 5500-90000]} with eight years’ regular service in the grade shall also be considered along with outsiders and in case he/she is selected for appointment to the post the same shall be deemed to have been filled by promotion.

2. Deputy Curator Job Description:

To conduct the specialized work of scholarly study, cataloguing, research, to contribute to publication and culture and the material in respective the fields.

3. Educational Qualification

Officers of the Central Government or State Governments or Union Territories or Universities or Recognized Research Institutions or Public Sector Undertakings or Semi Government or Statutory or Autonomous Organizations:

Assistant Curator

Essential:

(i)Master’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent in Museology with History as a subject at bachelor’s degree level.

Desirable:-

(1)M. Phil Degree in the relevant field from a recognized University/Institute or equivalent.
