Essential qualification: Master’s degree in Life sciences (preferably Plant Sciences), Biotechnology, Microbiology with 4/5 years bachelor’s degree. Those with 3 years bachelor’s degree must have UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET qualification or equivalent or Ph.D. in any of above disciplines (As per ICAR Memorandum F. No. Agri. Edn./6/27/2014/HRD Dated 13.07.2015 and F. No. Agri. 2 Edn./6/27/2014/HRD Dated 09.10.2015)

 Desirable qualification

 1. Demonstrated experience in basic molecular biological techniques, gene cloning, gene function and characterization.

2. Basic bioinformatics tools of sequence analysis, expression analysis.

 Emoluments:  Rs. 25000 + 30% HRA (As per ICAR memorandum F. No. Agri. Edn./6/27/2014/HR D Dated 13.07.2015 and F.No. Agri. Edn./6/27/2014/HR D Dated 09.10.2015)

 Age limit (maximum):  35 years for men & 40 years for women (Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Govt. rules)

 Duration of the projects:  One year or till completion of the project whichever is earlier.
