Eligibility Criteria: राष्ट्रीय विज्ञान, प्रौद्योगिकी और विकास संस्थान नई दिल्ली की ओर से इंस्‍पायर योजना के तहत बेसिक एवं नेचुरल साइंस कोर्स गणित, सांख्यिकी, भौतिकी, रसायन विज्ञान तथा लाइफ साइंस वनस्पति विज्ञान, जंतु विज्ञान में स्नातक कक्षाओं प्रवेश लेने वाले अभ्यर्थी जिन्होंने 2016 2017 में 12 वीं की परीक्षा न्यूनतम 417 अंक के साथ पास की है, उन्हें स्कॉलरशिप प्रदान किया जाएगा। अभ्यर्थी संस्था की वेबसाइट www.inspire-dst.gov.in, www.inspire.gov.in पर आवेदन कर सकते हैं। यह जानकारी यूपी बोर्ड क्षेत्रीय कार्यालय के अपर सचिव ने दी।

Inspire PHD Fellowship Scholarship 2017: Innovation in a Scheme of the Government  of  India,  offers  standing  opportunity  for  pursuing  Doctoral  Research  at  any recognized  University  or  Institute  in  India through  Fellowships  at  the  level  same  as  National  Eligibility Test (NET) qualified candidates. Applications are invited from i) INSPIRE Scholars after completion of their post-graduation degree in Science areas and ii) University level First Rank holders in the Post-graduate Degrees in Basic at any recognized Indian University or Institute/ Statutory Body in India for award of INSPIRE PHD FELLOWSHIP Scholarship 2017. Now the Fellowship shall be offered only on the basis of availability of fellowships in the current year inspire scholarship online application 2015 Call.

Educational Qualification For Getting PhD 

i) INSPIRE Scholar having secured minimum 65% marks in aggregate at M.Sc. or Integrated M.S. / M.Sc.

ii) 1st Rank Holder in each Post-Graduate (PG) level examinations in Basic/ Applied Sciences including Engineering Sciences, Medical Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Agricultural sciences and Veterinary Sciences from any recognized University and academic Institutions in India. Similarly, 1st Rank Holders at the Graduate Level Examination in Medicine only conducted by a University/ Institution in India are also eligible to apply.1st Rank should be of obtained in minimum batch size of 10 students in that university level examination with minimum aggregate of 60% marks of the entire course/ program.

Selection Procedure: The Provisional selection shall be made on the basis of academic merit, Supervisor, Choice of Host Institution, and tentative area/topic of Research of the candidate after evaluation by Expert committee, subject to the scrutiny of PhD admission and detailed research proposal at the time of Final Offer.

Inspire Scholarship Amount & Duration of Fellowship : It offers financial support in the form of a Fellowship equivalent to NET/ GATE fellowship (Junior Research Fellowship / Senior Research Fellowship) and research grant to the candidate. There is a provision of 1,000 Final offers of INSPIRE Fellowships to be given every year to eligible students on first-cum-first basis and each Fellowship is tenable for a maximum period of five years, subject to the completion of their UG PG degree whichever is earlier. This Fellowship shall not be available at MSc or MPhil or MTech level during pursing in any such Integrated MSc-PhD/ MPhil-PhD/ MTech-PhD Scholarship 2017 courses.

Inspire Scholarship Cut Off: The Final selection for INSPIRE shall be on the basis of academic cut off Marks and Merit List of the candidate.
